The product portfolio of ASE GmbH, Advanced Solutions Engineering, was transferred to VITRONIC Machine Vision GmbH on  January 5th 2026 as part of an asset deal. This creates the first fully integrated offering for end-to-end access solutions across all modes of transport and the entire logistics chain, expanding VITRONIC's global freight traffic business. The strategic focus is on a sustainable, digital future. Since then, VITRONIC has been solely responsible for the operational support of customers, projects and solutions.

The existing solutions and expertise of ASE GmbH will be continued and further developed under the VITRONIC – Freight Traffic brand. Customers will benefit from the proven technological expertise of ASE as well as the global positioning, resources and more than 40 years of experience of the VITRONIC Group.

For existing customers, this transition means continuity and planning security: Ongoing projects, established contact persons and existing contractual arrangements will be continued by VITRONIC.

VITRONIC stands for innovative, AI-based solutions in the field of intelligent OCR gates for rail and road transport. Solutions such as NUMBERCheck – Video Gate use state-of-the-art deep learning algorithms for automated image recognition in real time and support the digitalisation and optimisation of logistics processes – securely, scalably and with an eye to the future.
